That's why I can't understand why leftists haven't been fully onboard with keeping their masks on . We live in a surveillance state, everybody should be jumping at the chance to hide from all the cameras and face recognition algos.

Yeah, I'm a bit concerned with how defeatist and accepting my lib family and friends have been over the dramatic shifts these past few years. Like the second Biden got into office, it was like pulling the plug on their #resist module. My sister is still big in the fight against all the book banning going on, but that's about it.
Technically it may already be illegal. Laws about face coverings "with the intent to conceal" are already on the books
Good idea! After all, who knows what kind of heinous things a person might get up to in a mask. They might put people in the hospital, disable them for extended periods, or even kill them!
I just wear a hat with fake (but pretty realistic hair) to shoplift. I think it was a film prop or something, not even sure when I got it.
Oh they were talking about robberies. Yeah I think people will probably just ignore that and enter with a mask on to rob someplace... If they're already at that point I don't think they're going to obey a sign or rule about it...
Yeah I was going to rob a Target but they had that damn "no mask" policy. Anyway the year is 2027 and the only living humans are a handful of rich guys ordering each other around in a bunker below New Zealand, so I'm just going to take their stuff instead.
The capitalism market solution :
- Ban all traditional Masks
- Creation an exemption for see-through plastic masks, kind of like those purses/bags for concerts or Amazon employee hellhouses
- Profit, while simultaneously creating a massive amount of future disposible plastic waste
- Cause mass death on an increased scale compared to the current mass death because see-through masks don’t work like N95s
Alternatively: create mass death by making a perfectly sealing plastic mask. You don't need to breath, do you?
