Run that back, China wants to hide evidence of ICE sterilizing women because it might make people on Reddit think organ harvesting is bad, and they want to push the idea that organ harvesting is good? What?
Well here's the thing, they did . The initial post had 26,000+ upvotes and tonnes of comments, people were incensed by the story and totally outraged.
Then it got removed. And then posted again, and removed again.
The mods are giving clearly bullshit reasons, so this has got to be coming from above.
I can't see the Reddit admins really giving a shit about it, in fact they're probably happy to use it as anti-Trump fodder. So given how much anti-China propaganda that has been on Reddit fucking constantly over the last while, I can't help but think that Reddit is being used to manufacture consent from above. How high it goes is anybody's guess.
It's on the top page of /r/news/ and rising currently so idk if I'd blame the admins on this one.
