If I'm reading it correctly, it would limit rent to 1/4 of the median household income. It's not legislating away landlords so much as it is shrinking their profit margins

Props to Ireland for easily being the least bad country in the global north. Ehh, Iceland and Norway are ok but they're on thin ice.
