Cope, AmeriKKKa. What Cuba has done will NEVER be forgiven by them, the Revolution, in the face of the United States, in a country that was basically a private island for dirty gringos, is a MAJOR offense. It still freaks them the fuck out, because after decades of blockades, an invasion, decades of relentless smear campaigns by the Miami gusanos, the Revolution SURVIVES, there were some really hard times, especially the 90s and early 2000s, but the Revolution SURVIVES, cubans have showed great resolve to protect what they achieved, even in the hardest of times, under the threat of famine or nuclear annihilation, they stood by the Revolution.

They wont stop with the embargo or the smear campaigns (and the occassional coup and military threats) until the entire island is once again back in complete US control, but that will never happen again. The Revolution will outlive the United States itself.

In extremely propagandized countries this might be true, since people rely on said propaganda to form an opinion.

        CW: transphobia, racist violence

Imagine a referendum on wether trans people should be genocided in the US, or the same issue about Rom*nja in Europe

Nothing is democratic but the dictatorship of the proletariat

Why did Cuba allow LGBTQ+ rights?

Experts say because the whole country voted on it and it passed

cuba is a truly backwards dictatorial country where the crooked government corruptly garners support by the local population by doing things that are good for them

The leaders of communist Cuba strive for power. And they do this by providing for the needs of the people.

Why are LGBTQ+ rights under attack all across America? Anyway, here's an article explaining how LGBTQ+ rights are a ploy for the government to do an authoritarianism.

Is this like when China exerted control over the Uyghurs by forcing them to partake in traditional Muslim ceremonies?

like when China exerted control over the Uyghurs by forcing allowing them to partake in traditional Muslim ceremonies?

No, that propaganda isn't as nuanced. Minority rights in China are conveniently ignored, try talking to a lib about it. Blank stares is all you get

One of my favorite things to hit libs with is that the "One Child Policy" never applied to ethnic minorities within China. Imagine the U.S. trying to institute a "One Child Policy" on white people, and then tell me that the CPC is a Han-supremist organization. Not that the Han still don't dominate national politics in China, but the organization is clearly willing to do things that are directly at the expense of the Han ethnicity.

The very same people critiquing one child policy will tell you that the world's problem is overpopulation. Curiously, they are mostly referring to people who are minorities in the imperial core :curious-marx:

Also, white supremacy is so deeply ingrained into western societies that people just can't fathom a ruling party that's not obsessed with racial superiority.

I've heard that it was all an elaborate ruse with Han Chinese people doing the ceremonies to mock them. Not from reliable sources but I have heard it

Allowing rights to exert control. Experts should know that's an oxymoron.
