What happened at Charlottesville was horrifying as nazi shit tends to be, but the nazis involved tripped up because they dropped the masks and put on the armbands a little too early, and public perception of them made them crawl under the rocks again for a little while, at least to the point of not shouting about who will replace them in tiki torch rallies quite the same way.

I remember how quickly "Frenworld" shit went from "it's a new meme, totally no contextual problems, see see?" :sus: to "oh, nazi babytalk" as a summarized description from random people observing it. I think it took a week.

I also remember when chuds try to appropriate the word "chud" and utterly fucking failed to make it about leftists. That took a weekend.

Most of us remember RIchard Spencer getting punched on camera. Fewer of us remember that years later he publicly admitted that he's afraid to go out in public because of it.

Once you get punched in the face on camera and the entire world cheers about it and celebrates the guy who did it as a hero the chances that someone else does it goes up enormously.

Man has a target on his back, I'm not surprised he's afraid to go out in public now. Punch nazis.

Hillary Clinton ran for president twice!! Somehow not realizing she is the most hated politician in America. Good times. She suggested Barack Obama wasn't an American. Lol. And then supported Trump running against her for the Republican party. Thinking she would easily beat him. But he won!! Lol :data-laughing:

What's worse is that she risked it all on Hilary winning in 2016. Where she would allegedly be replaced by the first female president and all the cons would be owned before getting over it within a week.

In a double L. She's famous for DISSENTING. Ergo, losing.

notorious rbg being the proximate reason why we lost Roe is extremely funny in a "please lord just let me die" kind of way. There is no finer encapsulation of liberalism than a cancer ridden racist fossil who is the single point of failure for the civil rights of 330 million people ending abortion protections out of sheer smug liberal arrogance bc she went and officiated a goddamn wedding during the worst plague since aids. And of course the liberals still girlboss her and refuse to engage with the reality of what happened in any way.

Absolutely, I have a sick sense of humor. It’s actually really terrifying.

The most amazing thing is there’s zero introspection. Like the fact that this could happen didn’t spur a single “hmm, maybe we should reform this institution” except among “radical leftist” circles. Instead it’s see this is why you’ve gotta get out and :vote: so that next time our cadaver can pick the successor instead of the other team’s cadaver

This one is super local (Argentina) and obscure as well, but I remember when some neonazi shithead was killed in a street clash with, as the neonazis say, "a horde of Marxists and drug addicts". That was yeeears ago, mid 90s, I was a kid when it happened but I remember it fondly. Mf talked shit, found out, his neonazi friends tried to make him a martyr and nobody gave a single fuck, they tried to make him like horst wessel but failed, even the Justice kinda ignored it and never undertook proper investigation LMFAO

    No peace for these fuckers.

I've been on this site longer than my account age suggest, I just swap between alts to minimize chances of self-doxxing. But on this very site, I remember the whole Fred Flintstone incident. That always gets a chuckle out of me.

Don't leave me hanging. I have no idea what that was about. :angery:

It’s an L for us, but it’s an even bigger L for the right when you think about it: Gamergate was the Civil Rights movement for white people.

On its own it was just a sad reactionary nerd circus, but was a bellwether for the modern fascist age and it did get a lot of fascists started because it made them feel like their consumer products were in imminent danger from "SJWs" and that goosestepping with Tiki torches would end the menace of criticism of their consumer products forever. :doomer:

No one beat me to it? Good.

Basically, someone on Hexbear got into an argument about pumpkin spice lattes and masculinity, and then got banned. After that, he made a series of alts that all had a Hanna-Barbera theme to them arguing about the same the left not being manly enough or whatever. Same shit that Haz does about Starbucks unions being bad because he doesn't like the vibe.

          Thank you for the clarification!

I think that same poster might still show up, minus the Flintstones theme, because it's a common wrecker hangup to ramble about how weak fellow leftists are and how they don't have real jobs and in one case, an exceptionally :scared-fash: one, that people with depression deserved death because they weren't motivated enough to organize.

This was big right after Bernie lost in 2020. I clearly remember a Chapotraphouse twitch stream (before it became a channel about chuds/incels posting weird shit on Youtube) that had the pod hosts and a Seeking Derangement's guy. They we're all in agreement that if you didn't knock on every door in your neighborhood, you had no right to be upset and that it was Your Fault, actually. Huge you didn't :vote: hard enough energy.
