Scientists are sick of having their warnings on climate change rudely ignored and demeaned by Trump.
They really, really want to go back to the way things were when their warnings were listened to, they got a pat on the head and then had their earnest reccomendations quietly shredded.
I remember interviewing for a staff writing job at the Scientific American, they do not shut up about how they’re America’s oldest magazine. They also are elitist af and say basically that their magazine is specifically only for “real” science heads unlike NatGeo
I found a NatGeo magazine from 1986 that said in the future the World Trade Center would be a low rise.
Scientific American isn't even good anymore. Used to have some mathematics or allusions to deeper resource material, but now reads like Popular Mechanics.
Imagine if at the end of that tweet they endorsed Trump. lol
I guess I say that just cuz I subconciously wanted a surprise for once with one of these tweets since there were, like, a million just like it saying vote for Hillary 4 years ago and how "the fate of reality and multiverse itself depend on it!" or some shit.
Meh, democrats are objectively the better choice for anyone with ties to academia.
It's just exactly how anyone who wants funding or to just generally be taken seriously by the country in their academic career should act.
