So where were these mofos during Jim Crow, Vietnam or Project Condor? Guess it wasn't life or death back then if they never endorsed a president in 175 years, huh?

They were silent when we put asians in concentration camps and when the AIDS policy was "just let the f***** die", but this time health and science is important so vote for "fracking" joe biden!

It has to be because Trump is taking their money somehow. Idk, I remember in college professors complaining they could barely get grants anymore and this was under Obama so I doubt its worlds worse now, probably they just noticed, much like libs and racism.

Scientists are sick of having their warnings on climate change rudely ignored and demeaned by Trump.

They really, really want to go back to the way things were when their warnings were listened to, they got a pat on the head and then had their earnest reccomendations quietly shredded.

I remember interviewing for a staff writing job at the Scientific American, they do not shut up about how they’re America’s oldest magazine. They also are elitist af and say basically that their magazine is specifically only for “real” science heads unlike NatGeo

Imagine if at the end of that tweet they endorsed Trump. lol

I guess I say that just cuz I subconciously wanted a surprise for once with one of these tweets since there were, like, a million just like it saying vote for Hillary 4 years ago and how "the fate of reality and multiverse itself depend on it!" or some shit.

Meh, democrats are objectively the better choice for anyone with ties to academia.

It's just exactly how anyone who wants funding or to just generally be taken seriously by the country in their academic career should act.
