    Tuesday morning, I got up early and typed an email to my colleague. “I’m going to work from home today, I’m not feeling the best. About to do a COVID test but pretty sure it’s just a cold

    Sure, there's a virus that is as contagious as anything we've ever seen that is facing no attempt at mitigation, but COVID is over so it must just be a cold!

      Every time my toddler brings home some illness, I'm busting out a COVID test like "aw fuck, is this :covid-cool:"

      People are so dismissive of respiratory illness symptoms even after the last few years. It's so fucking frustrating.

      This is what blows my mind the most, I don't understand how people reach that conclusion after the past 3.5 years. I immediately associate any kind of respiratory symptoms as covid. It's covid until proven otherwise.
