Under communism, we shall redistribute hair and eye colors.

Mammals are really unlucky when it comes to easily accessible pigments. There are no simple gene switches that would give mammals fun anime colors, so brown, white, and black are all we get. :rage-cry:

Red eyes are due to a lack of melanin allowing you to see the redness of blood vessels. Likewise, a lot of animals that are blue or green don't actually have that pigment but reflect light a certain way.

Celts are fine and will be honorary PoC during the mayocide, but they will be on thin ice.

Because genetic diversity is more than skin deep.

On the opposite side, Africa is the most genetically diverse continent in the world. Despite quite a few westerners thinking they're all the same or some other racist stereotype.

Sadly most times "Bantu migration" is mentioned in a South African context, it's used as an excuse/"empty land myth" for colonialism, saying that settlers and Africans arrived in the country at the same time.

That's a gross way to twist the anthropology and linguistic evidence we have that goes back centuries before white people arrived. That is sad. We evolved on Africa.

When I was born, I was black, When I grew up, I was black, When I'm sick, I'm black, When I go out in the sun, I'm black, When I'm cold, I'm black, When I die, I'll be black,

      But you,

When you're born, you're pink, When you grow up, you're white, When you're sick, you're green, When you go out in the sun, you go red, When you're cold, you go blue, When you die, you'll be purple,

And you have the nerve to call me colored!

A lot of it is just various levels of de-melanization. We get one freakish mutation that results in people with little to no melanin and a bunch of different hair and eye colors pop up.

desperately, and the further north the genes go, the more desperate the deficiency. hence why you start getting blonde and red at the highest european latitudes.

Brown is literally just dark orange, many such cases of pigments having dark versions because of high melanin

IDK about red hair, but blue eyes were definitely done as a trick by Yakub. I can't even look up during a sunny day without crying. :angery:

Since it hasn't been mentioned, genes that cause lighter skin pigmentation can cause differences in hair and eye pigment too. So lighter skin can be a beneficial adaptation for more vitamin d absorption that results in other phenotype expressions.

This isn't limited to things that "make sense" either. I'm not an expert, but when they were breeding foxes in Russia for more domestic traits (being docile, friendly) they found that more domestic foxes were also starting to express stuff like piebalding (spots, basically) and floppy ears.
