Terrible. Just ... a very bad film. I do not recommend it.
Also, fun fact: The creator of the original comic strip's intention was not to make a comic that was funny but that was profitable / marketable
I am once again asking hexbears to stop using 4chan lingo like "soy"
I don't like how soy degrades the ground it's grown in. That's why I prefer my vegetables diverse
One of these is making fun of victims and one is making fun of oppressors
2nd time learning about the Garfield movie, the first being from Northern Lion playing Balatro. What the fuck is Chris Pratt doing playing these kinds of roles? Does he want something from me?
Also, who is this???
if anybody is interested, someone edited Garfield off a bunch of original strips and uploaded it, which not only made more than half of them funny, it also turned fucking garfield out of all things into a sort of psychological, surreal black comedy where Jon arbuckle is a lethally depressed, absurd shell of a man who risks becoming utterly deranged in every panel.
Come watch as he descends into complete madness

Oh for sure, they are like polar opposites so it's hard to compare them but Valley rules. The perfect comic artist for our current political climate.
I couldn't place the name but I knew it was gonna be either the Calvin and Hobbes guy or the Life in Hell guy.
Pretty sure Life in Hell guy is also the creator of The Simpsons.
Nearly the whole movie is like this.
Edit: And keep in mind these are the "jokes" that they thought were best to promote the movie with. These are the "best" ones.
Yup. I watched the shit out of that Garfield cartoon and thought I was hilarious. But I was also like 9…
If you told me a nepo baby comms major made that during an animation elective I’d believe you.
They aren’t even trying anymore are they?
