      The US Military is a large greenhouse gas producer, and the global livestock industry produces 14.5% of emissions. Cowspiracy on Netflix explains how the beef industry is responsible for rainforest deforestation too.

      Is there a nice chart showing the comparative emissions of the corporations vs US military vs beef industry? I see the 100 companies figure posted from time to time, but not so much the other two stats.

      This paper claims the US has 60,000 Humvees getting 4-6mpg and that jets pollute even more. I might read it all later, but who can direct me to some even better information? Thanks.

    People really don't understand the significance of the artic permafrost melting. They just have no idea. "Feeback loop" and "Snowball effect" have never passed their ears before.
