I'm not sure if I believe this. $25k is a fuckton of money

Cheap for an ad campaign to sell blue and get slumping engagement up. I could see it as a few targeted payouts to big visible posters.

Yeah if big posters leave the platform, how much is keeping people there?

Imagine if this is a "Nigerian prince" variant. "Send us your account number to receive your Legitimate Twitter Blue Paycheck 👀"

The Krassensteins get more daily attention than Oprah and the Pope put together.

I believe the 25k amount is real, even if it won't make any sense financially down the road.

Not worth it imo, I spent a while blocking like 2000 blue users, but since there's like 400,000 I still see the vast majority of them

Only half of it, you have to scroll and load all the blue users yourself and then it adds them to a block list queue

The rest of the people posting about it are full on fash.

But these are great for going to advertisers with.

Too bad Twitter allowed these dorks back on.

Didn't one of them do an AMA on the old subreddit?

Why the fuck is musk doing all this shit that tanks twitter profit? Does he forgot he literally borrowed saudis money to buy twitter?

It's also possible that losing every dime he spent on Twitter won't even knock him out of the top 5 wealthiest people on earth, thanks to overvalued SpaceX and Tesla stocks.

      that tanks twitter profit

to be fair twitter has to be profitable in the first place (which I think it only has been for like a single year prior to musk's acquisition) to tank their profits. They posted something like $200 mil in losses back in 2021 iirc; and of course, Musk has tanked their ad revenue since then

From 2019-2022, Twitter made about $3 billion a year, and had a cost of revenue of $1 billion. The main way they burned the extra $2 billion was on R&D and sales. A boring accountant-type could easily have made the company profitable over 2-3 years.

It won't matter. He'll still be wealthier than ever thanks to inflated Tesla and SpaceX stock.

The Saudis will bitch about it, but he never actually has to show up and grovel if he doesn't want to.

It sucks, but Musk is going to kill Twitter and walk away without any consequences.

Actually I will continue to feed the trolls because eventually this will bankrupt the platform
