Cuba probably gets the most praise and sympathy from people that typically hate AES countries. Vietnam even moreso because I've never seen the level of hate going towards them that I do with Cuba or even Venezuela. It just exists.

Also helping anti-colonial, anti-capitalist, and anti-imperialist movements around the world is not imperialist, it's just interventionist, and not all interventions are bad.
