One weird thing I've learned from talking to cis people, even sympathetic ones, is that so many think trans people are always super visibly trans and you'll always know if you're speaking to a trans person.

Which is ironic because cishets are like the easiest people to stealth mode among. The gays are usually a bit more attentive, and hiding it from other trans people is the super advanced difficulty.

It makes me think they don’t actually view us as women or think we can truly be women.
We are just mentally ill freaks in their eyes that they humor because they are “good people”.

in a few decades: "A cis woman today told me that she's happy that I'm wearing my light stubble with pride, I told her that I'm happy that she's wearing her beardless face with pride" or something like that, if you don't get it I'm trying to reference that twitter post about the white and the black women and their hair

It's such an uncomfortable vibe. I'm just a normal woman living a normal life, most strangers don't know or care that I'm trans.

I think a lot of cis people just do not understand that hrt is a thing. They think you're always gonna look how you do pretransition, and you'll just dress differently. They don't often seem to underatand Puberty II vivian-shrug
