They're also convenient if you are recovering from things like a broken wrist, sprained wrist, and sprained elbow because they're easier to put on than regular tshirts. My mom decided to get a few cheap tank tops for me because of that.
Also one my my stepmom's somehow ended up in my clothes pile, so I put it on without noticing (it did seem different, but I had other things to worry about). I don't think my mom liked that and made me change. Stepmom probably just added my reaction to finding out it was hers to her mental list of "reasons I think Walrus is trans" list.
Yeah true, didn't think abt that =)
Lmao, shouts to your stepmother for keeping that mental list, very cool.
That part was a joke. Idk if she does that or not.
Too long, wouldn't suggest reading (also some transphobia from mom)
But she asked if I was a woman like 1.5 year (interrupting my mom complaining about single they/them pronouns and I answered with a brief "no" before my mom continued...) and occasionally seems to have been trying to get more info related to that since. Like, when the ER gave me ketamine once, as I was coming out of it, she used that as a chance to suggest painting my nails pink (this was before I started painting my nails). One time she seemed to have come across a meme about a town called something like "balls cutoff" and brought it up even though she pretty much never shares stuff from social media stuff other than cute animal vids on occasion. She's also invited me to get nails done and has braided my hair. When she mentioned the nails thing, my mom tried to answer for me and she actually pushed back and said she wanted my answer. Not long ago (maybe the next timed I visited), when I mentioned the time I cosplayed, she asked something like "are you trying to say something to us?" and my cousin tried to say something like "guys can cosplay as girls, its just cosplay" and once again said she asserted that she wanted my answer (which was an embarassed "yes", immediately followed by my mom changing the topic). So... I guess I'm sorta out to her now? But not as any thing specific and we haven't really talked about that since.
