I picked a good day to get banned from reddit for saying Nazis should be shot.
I got permabanned from /news and /politics just for describing the state monopoly on violence.
Yeha rebr0 stopped by yesterday too and people made fun of him for the Beto stuff which was nice

The best part of Lemmy is how when people delete their posts it says
removed by creator
like god removed it or something.
There are a few things we have to decide on. At the moment, users can un-delete their comment if they change their mind, and they do this by returning to the deleted comment stub. Additionally an entry of some sort needs to remain in the database in case someone replied to a deleted comment to maintain the comment tree structure. We probably can hide these for people who didn't create the comment if there are no replies. On the other hand, it makes things a little bit more transparent. On the other, other hand, there needs to be a way to make it go away for good for GDPR compliance.
If it's possible to apply a custom style to removed comments (and I'd be very surprised if it's not), it should be a relatively minimalist change required to conceal (but not totally remove) comment stubs.
