For non-UK peeps: Marmite is like a sticky brown yeast extract that you put on toast. Is super savoury and not something you want to smell like. Lynx is what Axe calls themselves here.
I've smelt this and its absolutely foul.
Think of all the work that has gone in to producing this. The graphic designers, brand managers, marketing team, plus of course the inevitable middle managers and endless meetings. The factory tooling up and producing thousands of cans, creating tons of plastic waste, distributing it via trucks to thousands of supermarkets etc.
All so you can smell like fucking yeast it makes me fucking sick.
This is capitalism laughing in our faces.
Who the fuck still uses axe/lynx deodorant that's over the age of 15? Those things are foul
I knew a guy in school who laid his shirt out in front of him and emptied like half a can on it, front and back.
Midway through the procedure I asked him like if it wasn't enough now? He just said he always does it like that. At that point I just left the room.
Ahh yes being a teenager and lighting things on fire with deodorant, fun times
I remember in 8th grade one of my friends made a makeshift flamethrower with a lighter and axe in the back of the bus
For non-UK peeps: Marmite is
like a sticky brown yeast extract that you put on toastTHE FOOD OF GODSI'm American. I bought a jar of Marmite and a jar of Vegemite at and international food store, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by both. Concentrated yeast extract is really good on toast with butter.
Marmite is better though.
Yeltsin would have reversed perestroika in a heartbeat if he saw this on display in one of the Western supermarkets he toured.
Don't let libertarians you come across say this without challenging them on it. The "calculation problem" that the Austrian economists claimed meant that capitalism is always more efficient has been debunked. Just by math alone, computing power must eventually get to a certain point where it is automatically more efficient than the free market. Project Cybersyn showed back in 1972 this was probably already the case decades ago.
Vegemite is based tho. I would smear vegemite all over my body ...
