The elder Trudeau had a strong relationship with Castro
his wife did too
trudea being castros cuck bastard is like one of my fav conspiracy theories lmao
I was so fucking disgusted (but not surprised) when Trudeau skipped Fidel's funeral. He's done a lot of awful shit as PM but that one really gets me.
He was a little hesitant about not recognizing Guaido, but apparently he's changed his mind and recognizes Maduro and called on the Canadian PM to do the same That Niki Ashton in the article sounds cool and based, too.
Chapo dot chat admins should uplift the lives of thousands of libs by giving the people Castro emojis
No one in the NDP is based, but this tweet was pretty based of him and it's funny that the conservative media is getting mad
Matthew Green, Nikki Ashton and Leah Gazan are NDP MPs that are based. They got super strong anti-imperialists stance, and even self-identify as socialists. But yeah, I think that's it.
It is very frustrating to support the NDP
They are so terribly organized, weak part-time candidates in my area
I would run myself, but my family directly supported terrorism in Apartheid South Africa so that's enough to kill any political career
My dad smuggled AK47's for the ANC, so thats a freedom fight with some spin
But my uncle tried to blow up a police station, a little too outside of the mainstream there
I'm not sure I could swing it, lol

Edit: Thanks for the love guys. I'll tell my dad :)
Yeah he's pretty good. https://twitter.com/theJagmeetSingh/status/1309301787053240320
What the fuck is up with the Christian vegetarian bots in his replies?
I think it was in part that we weren't that anti-Cuba/Castro here. Canada and Cuba had good relations, Castro was friends with Justin Trudeau's dad and JT gave a nice sentiment at his passing, and opted not to go to his funeral due to a backlash. Anti-communism is sort of always present in the west but not quite as intense in Canada as the states.
Parenti often asked why people aren't anti communist when it comes to Cuba. I would guess that they have the most idealized revolution with the best narrative.
Cuba didn't isolate themselves like the DPRK, their diplomacy, in the face of such intense hostility from the world's greatest superpower, is remarkable. If Cuba wasn't the target of the global Hegemon, I don't think there would be any doubt they would win this year's Nobel Peace Prize for their internationalist humanitarian efforts against the global pandemic. We all know of them sending doctors around the world, but I'm sure most people forget that the
No I'm pretty sure he posted this when Castro died a few years ago
Nah this was like in 2016, some dumbass pundits are trying to drum up some political clout I guess
Get it here folks! Jaghmeet Singh should singlehandedly apologize to the victims of gommunism for uh...
Yep, some chud reactionary writer from the Toronto Sun is trying to make hay from this and get him to resign.
