Why not, you can pick a vampire as whatever you want if you don't have some blowhard storyteller and a boring table. One of the most fun characters I shared a table with was a soviet russian vampire turned in the 30s and lived through the 90s shock/collapse before coming to America (with looted wealth of course).

Boring Dave who works the as a night shift janitor could probably make it on his own as a Caitiff with no one ever figuring it out, even if that's a boring-ass life.
