I don't know what it is with libs and leftists, but half of us have some incessant need to pretend that the enemy's wife/daughter/son/aunt is "secretly on our side the whole time"

I've never understood this, it's cringe and annoying and the literal definition of the word cope

Melania is trash.

Barron is just a kid, but statistically speaking there's like a 99% chance he also turns out to be trash. You don't have to bash him, but why praise him when he's literally done/said nothing?

Claudia Conway at least spoke out against her mother. Of course she's still just a lib at most, but I can understand a lib stanning her.

Princess Anastasia being killed is a good thing, because that means we got that Anastasia movie in the 90s, and while it was bad, it did come with a sick translucent blue DVD case that I really liked as a kid.

I loved Matt on most recent Chapo saying she definitely supports caging immigrants and probably 90% of Trump's administration, but she has no political power and will be shunned the moment Trump dies. She also has to have sex with him. Barron is definitely getting indoctrinated, there is no chance he turns out well, but I'll wait till he's got the Klan hood.

Melania is trash, but from what I've seen, libs mostly slut shame her whenever she comes up. It's not crazy to point out that having a former sex worker enjoy quite a bit of public acceptance is a good thing, even if there aren't a lot of good things about her.

It’s not crazy to point out that having a former sex worker enjoy quite a bit of public acceptance is a good thing

I mean you're basically falling for a lib trap here, which is that X is going to enjoy more acceptance because chuds did it

No, chuds will not stop slut shaming because trump married a former sex worker
No, evangelicals will not become pro-choice because trump received fetal stem cell treatment for COVID

Melania is trash, but from what I’ve seen, libs mostly slut shame her whenever she comes up

I'm sure some do, but the majority of the criticism I've seen is along the lines of "what do you think they'd say if she was a dem" or comparing her to Michelle Obama, who was a much more traditional first lady, and yet got dumped on. Most of what I've seen isn't actual slut shaming.

Someone like Claudia Conway doesn't even have to be a real leftist to deserve praise from us. She's dunking on her dumb fuck mom, in public. That's cool.

Barron is a government experiment, he's barely human anymore idk what you're talking about. We're simply in awe at the birth of homo superior.

I don’t think anyone is saying Barron is going to save us non-ironically. The basis of the meme is that he’s a giant and so saying that he’s going to save us is based off that joke. That’s my interpretation.

Meme was around since before his growth spurt, though. But it kinda took a different direction after.
I think it started as like a semi ironic "fellow failson" sort of thing.

There is some fun in putting a spotlight on the failsons, faildaughters, and hangers-on of the deteriorating sclerotic empire. Jokes about Hunter Biden and Donald Jr. come to mind. Statements which illustrate just how untalented and undeserving these people are of all the privilage, wealth, and power bestowed upon them. It helps demonstrate just how broken the concept of meritocracy truly is.

Apologia is cringe though, I agree.

Absolutely agree. I'm talking solely about the apologia, the humanization, the "this kid is cool because he probably hates his dad just like us, even though we've seen literally zero indication of that being true"

Yeah, this is the epitome of parasocial politics. "Word cope" is the perfect description. These people have absolutely no frame of reference for interpreting world events besides fantasy.

These people have absolutely no frame of reference for interpreting world events besides fantasy.

          You made me realize something

          • Obsessed with comparisons to Harry Potter/starwars/Naruto/etc
          • Still unironically think that the US was a force for good prior to Trump
          • Always go high when they go low
          • Love to humanize your opponents relatives

All of this jives with a fictional framework. They have consumed so much fiction, and fiction is such a large part of their identity, that it's literally all they know. When they learn history, they learn it through the lens of a fictional battle between good and evil, where people do things because it's "morally right", and not for their self-interest or the self-interests of their country.

They think the US is good, because they're US citizens, so obviously the US has to be the "good guys" bc otherwise they'd be bad people.

They "go high when we go low" because all fiction is full of these moralistic "self-cuckings", with the hero eventually winning DESPITE it.

They humanize their enemies bc they love the idea of these unexpected twists,"having a spy on the inside", etc.

basically they're literal children. Fiction is their world, and everything is just a story/film for them. There is no actual intellectual curiosity, just intellectual calmness (as opposed to the right wing). They want to be entertained first, everything else later.
