2024 October 8 Tuesday 17:21 UTC:

Asked whether there is anything she would have done differently than Biden over the past four years, Harris demurred.

There is not a thing that comes to mind in terms of — and I’ve been a part of most of the decisions that have had impact

[...]

She appeared to backtrack on that answer later in the show.

You asked me what is the difference between Joe Biden and me — that will be one of the differences. I’m going to have a Republican in my Cabinet

IDK about you but I'm sold! blob-no-thoughts

Utterly fucking deranged for these people to spend like 8 years hollaring about the republicans being literal Nazis only to pull this shit.

      That's only TRUMPIST cheeto-man Republicans!

She's going to appoint a good Republican from the bygone era of intellectual moderates. Someone with a respectable record, like George W. Bush. mission-accomplished

Deep down they don't believe it, it's just a tactic to get supporters on their side. Remember Harris' infamous "It was a debate! jokermala" statement after accepting the vice president position, after she called Biden a racist segregationist? It's all a game to these people, with the end goal being power.

The problem the Democrats now are facing, is that their rhetoric on Trump is starting to threaten the safety of politicians in the arena. So far, a 20 year old shut in, and a crazy NAFO dude, have tried to assassinate Trump. Political assassinations coming back are not in the political establishment's interest (both R and D) , so they have to try tone it back a notch, while still keeping up the front that Trump "is the biggest threat to democracy". It leads to contradictions like this, where Harris puts out these statements to try appeal to moderates to try cool down the rhetoric, while still keeping up the front that Trump is an existential threat.

Lmao, even if you vote Democrat, they'll just give up power to the Republicans.

What's even the point of voting?
