yeah, I didn't realize just how many people here were trans until the pronoun tags went on and people started to be more open about it. it makes it so comfy
I'm very curious as to what your suspicions are. It's something I've been noticing. I'd really like to know how to help not just this site, but other communities feel better for women to participate in.
Feel free to shoot me a message if you want to organize your thoughts into writing.
would you be open to sharing what you're referencing? I feel like mods will be more willing to clean this up right now as there's already an ongoing house cleaning
I'm honestly speechless. that's way more explicit than I thought it was going to be. it's not even "not banning a user for a bad take" if you leave the post up and communicate to the broader community that this is inside the bounds of acceptable/not-ban-worthy discourse. surely at least a warning/comment removal/temp ban would have been appropriate? wtffff
I think ultimately the course of action is going to have to be a post to !userunion@hexbear.net - I just want to give a couple of mods the chance to confirm that as it's probably going to get hostile from the user base (though I hope most everyone is thinking about how to make this community more welcoming for every marginalized group).
immediately. but we should probably wait on the hand-holding, that would be lewd
whoever the third person is upbearing both of our comments, show yourself so I can kiss you too
aww, I think we scared them off. promise we won't bite... much
Probably @VolcelPolice waiting for the confirmation that we're anti-handholding.

what's cute is how supportive the trans people are of each on this site. it makes the whole thing feel so much more like a community
