At this point, the guy is in what amounts to a very weird and public self harm routine that he gets paid for. None of his treatments will produce any data of scientific value when he runs them all at once without doing any sort of controls. And if one of his treatments manages to miraculously increase his lifespan, he'll never even know because it'll almost certainly be cancelled out by all the other pseudo scientific shit he's doing to himself.

Once again reminded of the biohacker tech guy who took ketamine and drowned in a sensory deprivation tank

Isn't it counterproductive to waste so much time to extend your life? Like it seems like it's all this guy does. Wouldn't having a standard lifestyle leave you with more time to experience life?

This is like a story of a guy who spent his entire life trying to find the fountain of youth. Never found it even though started looking for it from a young age. Could have also like, lived his life.

Idk, that sounds more interesting than Bryan. Lots of hiking and hanging out at old libraries. Talking to archaeologists.

Jimmy's motivations are different probably, the man almost certainly knows he's going to hell if it exists (in the way his beliefs would see it as existing). He's clinging on for dear life lol

This guy is gonna do all this work, making his life bereft of meaning or experiences in exchange for longevity, so that he can maybe make it to 110 or something and die

And that's assuming he actually does LENGTHEN his life with all this nonsense, and that he doesn't end up making himself super vulnerable to something and die much earlier

The only thing that has any backing that extends life is staying moderately fit and active. Having a reason to get up in the morning and move your body is basically the entirety of the secret.

Of course in a grand irony for this dude, giving blood is basically the best and only way to lower your body's microplastic and heavy metal accumulation, which might possibly have an effect on your health in old age. Taking blood doesn't do shit.

I had kids because I wanted somebody to take out the garbage when I'm too tired after work.

You had kids because you wanted a Blood Boy.

Serial cold-plungers being the patient-zero of the zombie pandemic is definitely within the possibilities of this wacky world.
