The manifesto LE claims to have found on him is reported to have 262 words. Doesn’t match. And that YouTube account was a fake. Just seems like people want this to be an ARG and it’s not. I also heard the manifesto from Substack that was circulating (with no proof afaict) has a misspelling code in it, but haven’t reproduced that myself

The distance one is a bit suspect as that depends on the particular spot in manhattan you’re counting as the starting point.

It's like 230 or 240 mi unless you're counting travel distance in which case you get to pick your number, which is a rather shitty way to do it if you're trying to convey a point.

Like at that point you're grasping at straws.

Call me crazy but I would **guess ** it would be the scene of the crime.

I just checked to verify, and assuming (someone confirm for me) it was the McDonald's, 1500 9th Avenue Station Mall, Altoona, PA 16602:

As the crow flies its 232.050 miles.

By land transport its 277.516 miles.

.....sooooooo yeaaaaah...its a stretch but it kinda works.

Edit: Hold up...depending on the route you take it Could be 277 to 290 miles.....so...yeah....

Maybe it's the distance of the route he would've taken by train? Google tells me the ETA of the route but not the distance.

EDIT: NVM, Transitdocs says 327 miles from Penn Station to Altoona
