As someone who knows a lot of party libs, they absolutely love him. He's very eloquent and keeps trying to reach across the aisle by going on Fox. A lot of people really expect him to be the next Obama from speaking skills alone.

God my mom is one of these. She adores him because "He's very articulate and well-educated." Zero analysis of his actual policies or his effectiveness. She thinks people don't like him solely based on the fact he's gay and no understanding of how many people see him as a rat. Or how he epitomizes one of the main issues organizing queer spaces, which is white gay men assuming leadership and speaking over women, PoC, trans people, and even bisexual men. That's just rainbow washed patriarchy.

Dems gearing up to repeat the mistake they didn't learn with Kamala Harris or Hillary Clinton

"Wow, why are you blaming the gay man for some trains derailing? Are you aware of how many trains derail every year before 2020? Why are you holding the gay, veteran transportation secretary to a different standard? Oh, you're bringing up he chose to work for the most evil consultant firm basically in the world? After serving in the imperial military aiding the murder of third worlders? He's gay. Just say you hate him for that. No, I didn't ask about the bread pricing incident. Also, let me mention again... gay. Military veteran. Was a mayor of some tiny town and didn't improve anything at all there. Have you heard him talk? Second best white imitator of Obama, after governor Shapiro, of course. We need more "guy who talk goodly!" The substance doesn't matter! Just feed me smooth, blended bullshit and I'll slurp it up! I'll slurp that milkshake!..."

      Probably should stop there

I was watching a video about UHC and the DDD strategy, and they mentioned that McKinsey was the consultants that really introduced these strategies to the health insurance industry. pete

In the intro to his book, Feinman wrote that insurance companies began to significantly reconsider the claims process in the 1990s when they "became a profit center rather than the place that kept the company's promise."

A major part of this shift occurred when insurance companies, including Allstate in 1992, hired consulting giant McKinsey & Company, he said.

Conspiracy Theory: Pete Buttigieg had his name legally changed so that any obvious riff on his stupid-ass butt-like name would sound vaguely homophobic.
