I really can't believe the level of Bernie derangement of so many people. Stalin did nothing wrong.

Bernie should have simply ignited an armed insurrection from inside the senate chambers so Biden could nominate a conservative instead of Trump.

Remember when libs were demanding Barrett's nomination be blocked so that Biden could nominate Merrick Garland? Good times.

Bernie is completely fucking irrelevant now. He's just a senator from a tiny state who's probably going to retire in the next few years, and yet these people are absolutely seething over the very idea of anyone who dare question their parasocial best friends in the DNC. Pathetic.

i know this is a shit take but Bernie has been super quiet since he dropped out about anything that isn't "please vote for my friend joe" like he should have been pushing for M4A, jobs program, ubi, or anything for working ppl - but he never criticizes other democrats

Bernie was never the savior. He was the bare minimum.

If he got the nomination and won the race, he almost certainly wouldn't be able to get any real work done on M4A and the like. Congress would cock-block him every step of the way. But at least someone with Bernie's talking points might have been able to get people talking about his ideas and move the Overton window just a bit to the left.

being able to use the bully pulpit to talk about class relations, being able to call on everyone to join and form unions, or even strikes...

imagining another timeline where President Sanders joins a picket line of striking medical workers

This is definitely a lesson here for anyone in electoral politics with a real progressive platform to not pander, compromise, or listen to centrists. They will ignore any good will and are only interested in getting their own way. They are so blinded by their own smugness and priveledged that they can't even imagine that someone else might have better ideas.

There's a guy there saying that if it's a Biden landslide he's going to rub it in the faces of Bernie supporters. What does he mean by that? Is it a "ha ha, look he won and you said he wouldn't" is it a "ha ha look Bernie wasn't the right choice because Biden beat Trump" or is it something else? These people don't understand ideology or policy.

What suffering did they fucking go thru brodie? These are the pieces of shit that are all about keeping up appearances. You think if this mf was losing his job or going thru some real shit, he'd be on Twitter complaining about mean old Bernie?
