Been seeing a lot of Buttigieg love circulating on Twitter for going on Fox and saying they are wrong about things in the most uninspiring way. Makes you sick that a lot of these same people were furious at Bernie Sanders for going on Fox and actually making proposals that even Dems found too radical and having the Fox News audience actually agree with him. It’s all so stupid all the time.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills every time Buttigieg makes headlines in international media. Do US viewers really not see that he's only capable of making vague, nonsensical platitudes?
All I hear about him from Americans is that he's a real smart guy, but he seems like a dullard with a laser focus on US imperialism. Buttigieg is truly the nightmare candidate, enough lib cred just from being gay to completely distract dems from all the shady shit he did in the past to build the perfect CV for the billionaire class and the CIA.
Also his Spanish is dogshit.
A top priority for the left has to be convincing libs that Obama wasn't good. This is a crucial step in radicalization, it would inoculate the 2024 primary against the ratfucking that got us Joe Biden, and we're far enough from his administration that people can start to view it as history instead of something they're emotionally invested in. We'll have ample opportunity to do this, too, assuming Biden pulls it off.

Instead of wasting your time talking to smug liberals who hate poor people, go talk to your co-workers and other working class people who had to live through the recession with Obama and know just how awful he was.
Bill Clinton was fondly remembered by libs during the Bush years, but we eventually got far enough from his administration that you could criticize it without coming off like a political hack. Look at all the criticism of the crime bill this election cycle -- it was significant enough that Biden called it a mistake at a debate. Obama's approval among Democrats is still high, but it's dropped about 10 points from when he left office.
We can similarly move the needle on Obama. And if you can't persuade libs of that, good luck building a coalition to replace centrist Democrats.

Not all libs are smug assholes who hate poor people, and there are serious concerns about the "appeal to the 100 million who don't vote" strategy.
They spent the past 12 years worshipping Obama, this isn't a surprise.
The cult of personality around him got old within the first couple years of his presidency when he was doing fuck all about the recession and wars he promised to put an end to. If it weren't for Trump being so god awful, people would probably remember how hated he was during his presidency. Obama was only re-elected due to the fact that the Tea Party conservatives hated Mitt Romney and Romney sank himself with the 47% comments and shitting on poor people.
Hands down, the most useless Democrat president since Jimmy Carter and probably even worse than him cause Carter was so bad he got primaried by someone in his own party and then was destroyed when he tried to run for re-election. Obama had 8 years and the most he has to show for it is a shitty healthcare system that don't benefit anyone outside the middle and upper class.
Seriously. The only thing Obama really has going for him is his blackness. That's it, and even that is quite overrated as hell considering that he called BLM protesters the word THUGS when they protested in Baltimore and he called the Ferguson BLM protesters a bunch of LOOTERS back in 2014.
