I read that paragraph like 3 times to try and figure out how he could be against euthanasia and for doing Midsommar at the same time. I'm almost pissed enough to read the article, but that's how they get you

I have long argued that we should focus on giving all terminally ill people a good, compassionate death—not euthanasia or assisted suicide

Um what does this mean. Does he want them to die in honourable combat or something?

I have long argued that we should focus on giving all terminally ill people a good, compassionate death—not euthanasia or assisted suicide, but jumping off of a cliff like in Midsommar

I finished that sentence by running down the street shouting, "SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!"

Any and every god listening, I'll sacrifice a goat or whatever if you give that cunt a terminal illness. Please leave your name and preferred offering.

My grandma is ~86 and still gardens, exercises, reads and teaches violin/cello every day. And on top of that, she is a lovely kind and thoughtful person. Fuck this guy.

My great-grandma was still as lively as ever until she died at 106. She was still talking about the color of the dress her classmate wore to school in 1907. She could still walk on her own and take strolls through the park on her own until her last year. This guy can go fuck right off.

It's shocking how open they're being about wanting Joe to die.

To be fair, I wouldn't put it past Biden to fuck up his suicide like that.

Did anyone really believe Biden was going to be able to do anything to fix this pandemic? They're going to escalate it for the sole reason he don't support lockdowns. We might get a mask mandate several months into next year and that's it.

They're already pretending it's just going to go away like Trump did. Biden is more fixated on pushing austerity and making this recession into a full great depression.

I mean, chances are the vaccine is gonna be out during the first months of his presidency, so...

No. It's different because it's Biden this time! Now sit down and shut up!

We're rolling out death panels. At least we can use this later on for the synthesis that results in guillotines.

He really goes out on his "guys this is just for me its okay to disagree" but:

What about simple stuff? Flu shots are out. Certainly if there were to be a flu pandemic, a younger person who has yet to live a complete life ought to get the vaccine or any antiviral drugs. A big challenge is antibiotics for pneumonia or skin and urinary infections. Antibiotics are cheap and largely effective in curing infections. It is really hard for us to say no. Indeed, even people who are sure they don’t want life-extending treatments find it hard to refuse antibiotics. But, as Osler reminds us, unlike the decays associated with chronic conditions, death from these infections is quick and relatively painless. So, no to antibiotics.

Imagine having the stance of "I want all senior citizens to die agonizing and terrifying deaths just as nature intended."

And then being all cocky about it
