The only time adventure time made sense waswhen I took mushrooms and watched the episode where they invent currency and ruin all their relationships.

There are lots of moments like this. Have you seen the clip about laws?

marx-war In this clip, Jake from Adventure Time describes primitive accumulation and the enclosure of commons in a way that even a toddler can understand. And that's based.

One of the episodes that absolutely convinced me that the creators are doing the drugs. Also yes just an amazing episode to watch high

Fionna and Cake. Its more adult aimed -- They aged it up with the original audience

Is it appropriate for a six year old kid who loves the original series?

So far there's been cursing and the violence has some blood now but it didn't seem gratuitous to me.

swearing + blood, and one other violent scene where

          spoiler

Finn snaps the neck of a monster

Would a 6 year old enjoy the show though? I think probably, because there's enough visually going on, but they're not going to relate to the themes involving work-life and depression

Thanks, I made the mistake of showing them the latest guardians of the galaxy, this should be less traumatizing than that

I visited my family yesterday to watch, and my brother and I kept shouting out “OMG IT’S PEPBUT! IT’S HUNTRESS WIZARD!!” My dad was just like “how do you know?? What is happening??”

      Yes.

So it does tie into existing canon, but it's notnquite clear how yet (as of episode 2). It's likely some parallel universe biz
