This seems extremely suspicious. Considering Israel's recent sabotage campaign against Iran, it seems very plausible that they might try similar things against Lebanon.
bluechecks going off now that it wasn't fireworks but a Hezbollah munitions depot
dunno how the video was uploaded if they died, but that also makes me think maybe its not the same explosion?
Here's hoping they're alright, looked like a shockwave ripped up like a mile around the explosion
Yeah, unless they were livestreaming that I can't imagine its the same explosion if the footage survived
idiots on reddit are saying the buildings are vaporized, which is simply not true. in the more distant videos you can see debris getting knocked off and the shockwave obscuring the buildings, but here, you can see some buildings still standing, but badly damaged. buildings collapsed and were seriously damaged, but not fucking vaporized. you could probably survive in one of these buildings, but with a shit ton of hearing damage and you'd have to be extremely lucky

Bull shit. Bad shit happens because people are cheap and lazy. I think this is a legit accident here. The county is already massively destabilized. Why would they want to further destabilize a country which is pretty friendly to capitalist interests?
Holy shit, I hope no one was hurt but damn... That's a big explosion
Beirut port is completely destroyed

holy shit
update:
The Lebanese Health Minister, Hamad Hassan, says a ship carrying fireworks exploded in the Beirut Port.
video of aftermath: https://twitter.com/SVNewsAlerts/status/1290677628505149446
remember that the port and warehouse are also very close to fuel tanks and other raw material storage. so, even if it was just fireworks exploding, the damage to everything around it would only exacerbate that, im assuming.
The reuters youtube livefeed shows how much damage it depends what time it was but it could kill like 50 to 100 workers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfBPgjIWG3I
Fuck What about the warehouse i dont know if fireworks explode like that
Maybe they had raw material onboard, but I've got no clue.
You mean the warehouse to the left of the ship in this video? To me it seemed more like the explosion came from the ship.https://twitter.com/BissanCampaigns/status/1290671086951161856 i dunnno i think its hard to tell
Its fucking sad and even shittier if that was just an industrial accident
That "warehouse" is a bunch of grain silos, you can see it on google maps. Theres also an article about some regulations or something not being followed at the grain storage from a few years ago floating around.
Hey comrades, does anyone know a good place to donate? Was thinking about Lebanon Red Cross, but was wondering if there were any other good ones out there.

It looks like first there was an explosion on a ship and then a stockpile blew up
This angle looks suspicious, secondary explosion not centered on the primary explosion: https://twitter.com/SVNewsAlerts/status/1290680632029466624
Some Israeli government official said: "There is no reason to suspect that this isn't just an accident"
Imma be honest that makes me think you did it.
