Why is the CIA still fucking with my (once enjoyable) lefty subs?

Of course r*ddit is trash, rhetorical questions are rhetorical.

I unsubbed from that after several posts hit their front page about how voting for Biden = stopping fascism right before the election and getting downvoted after saying not nice things about Biden

Yeah, I should've dipped out then too, but was hoping that after the election they would have slunk back to their mimosa dens. Was wrong.

The rest of our lives will just be Liberals trying to EPICLY PWN Trump's ego.

We'll get 10,000 comics like this instead of healthcare.

Dont you think its too much to call everyone that is wrong on something a CIA op?

Surely its possible to just be misguided

That's exactly what CIA would say

Organizations and Conferences: When possible, refer all matters to committees, for "further study and consideration." Attempt to make the committees as large and bureaucratic as possible. Hold conferences when there is more critical work to be done.

Huh, I've never heard the phrase "further study and consideration" about a topic that in no way needs it before.

They're just inverting the meaning of the comic and this is the obvious way to do that. I guess they could've put Bernie or fuckin Marx in the limo but who is in the limo is less important to the punchline than who isn't.

I agree it's a vague amorphous blob of an accusation. But just to play devils advocate - how much work needs to be put into manipulating sites to get users following trends initially vs how much of that work creates it's own self sustaining lie, therefore not needing nearly as much effort to keep it going as it took to get it started?

You're right, on further reflection I wasn't making distinction but rather just agreeing with you and restating the point. The CIA does the initial work of starting the trend, and then it gets snowballed by the userbase. So technically no, the CIA isn't doing everything in that sense.

This is a shitty edit of a shittier comic

I don't totally hate the comic tbh

Truth. Also, I've never subbed, but I feel like a majority of posts come from one user...BelleAriel. Like the leftist version of GallowBoob, just a spam poster

I originally read this comic as the aliens are taken to the president, say "ha ha, good one", then go talk to a billionaire in a limo. And that makes a lot more sense than what the actual comic is saying, let me tell you.

But then I realized I had horribly misread what the author was going for and got sad.

The punchline, if you can even call it that is so fucking stupid. This is like a comic for people who think mayo is too spicy

Some of the Turning Point USA edits are god tier bad too. I love the increasing charlie's head bit though, and it is pretty stupid as well, so I can't really judge too much what others find funny, but I'll still call em a buncha libs
