That night was crack cocaine. I felt great. No depression just wild optimism.
I remember seeing articles that Bernie had a good chance of winning most states and moving to the general election. Fuuuuck I hate liberalism.
Until AOC launches her 2024 presidential bid and a bunch of “leftists” go back to being succs
She doesn't even know if she wants to stay in the House fam. Shits complicated. I would expect she runs against Schumer to test herself first before she tries the presidency, especially with Kopmala around and Joe Biden still breathing.
If anything she's young. She can afford the wait. Our climate can't or whatever, but that was fucked a long time ago.
She doesn’t even know if she wants to stay in the House fam
That's what she said publically. But who knows? It can be a way to divert the attention of the right of the democratic party away from that danger.
Or Kopmala if he's dead/unviable/decides to actually only serve 1 term.
I think it helped to radicalize a lot of people. I was left leaning before but seeing how the bourgeois electoral politics process did everything it can to make sure workers get absolutely nothing from the government finally pushed me over the edge
Man, good ol' Shadow app, developed by fucking Acronym. The dude in charge of it was photographed hanging out with Buttigieg's campaign manager at a bar days before the caucus right? Or am I mixing something up there
I keep thinking I have been handling the pandemic and this hell of a year pretty well, but then I see shot like this and remember how much better I was feeling last year and holy shit am I not
I know you're joking but seriously that's how so many people feel....
Wonder how many of these fuckers ended up smugly tapping their i voted sticker after cucking themselves for Biden
I rewatched a live stream of a Bernie rally I attended a week before the last big primary day, and I realized that was the last time I genuinely felt joy and hope. Nina Turner and Cornel West were there, and it felt amazing being in a room with 1000 other people cheering for police reform, free public college, higher taxes on billionaires, and healthcare for all. Feels like a different time, man. :negative:
Edit: Not to mention seeing boomers getting exposed to a federal jobs program and a federal housing program. When will we see those issues mentioned on the national level again?
fucking young ppl let him down, even before the Biden consolidation you could tell
Iowa was the canary in the coal mine and his 1% New Hampshire win convinced me we were fucked, there just was not the turnout and unity we needed to overcome the MSNBC boomer vote who were united in there anti Bernie vote, while young ppl were still standing by and/or even worse voting for Pete because he was a millenial or Warren because she's "female Bernie".
I talked to some coworkers in CO, a state Bernie won, one young guy around my age was undecided up to election day (still don't know if he even voted or who for), another guy said he liked Pete but couldn't explain why and didn't even know Bernie wanted to cancel student loans despite having 40k in debt
I hate my generation
As long as we don't stroke our fucking egos like I see some zoomers doing, and we keep our heads down into our praxis, I think we can fuck shit all the way up
fucking young ppl let him down
Yeah campaigning for Clinton will do that to you, why should young people believe in your "political revolution" if you don't believe in it yourself?
I know we shit on Bernie (I do), but I still love him. I say rest east grandpa. We got this.
we clearly do not got this, we are fucked for the next 8 years minimum and who knows if there will still even be elections once President Tucker Carlson is done with us
we clearly do not got this,
yeah we do usa will be communist by 2025 comrade
He went on TV yesterday saying Biden hasn't appointed any progressives to his cabinet yesterday, Bernie is still Bernie afterall, that's what made him good to begin with.
He just also doesn't believe that third parties have a future and that Democrats are pretty much always better than Republicans.
Imagine how funny it would be if Bernie was the holdout that prevented Neera from getting appointed hahahaha
It's too bad he won't.
