Oh no imagine if someone came to this land and took over and renamed everything to be something distasteful and stupid to the people who were already here. Imagine if NEW ENGLAND was renamed New Prussia! That would be crazy for that part of the land that was always NEW ENGLAND to be named something else. It would actually be morally wrong and full of hatred for the culture that was here previously. IMAGINE.

Native Americans. "Indian" was a slur that was eventually standardized. "Native American" used to be a term for White Settlers.

Also I don't think your vision would end up happening to same extent because Gerpersons are physically the same as White Settlers.
I think the Gerpersons would send english-speakers onto reservations, but those who adopted the Gerperson language would be accepted. Kinda the reverse of what actually happened with white immigration in the 1800s.

I thought most of them prefer Indian to Native American (though it depends on the individual)

Do not listen to the mayo-people

Native Americans living on reservations generally use Indian to describe themselves, those not on reservations generally say Native American. Either term is acceptable, some prefer one or the other but no one’s gonna get mad at you for saying either/or

Not to pile on because I think the commenters above already let you know but it is my understanding that they prefer American Indians

Regardless of the rest of this incorrect comment:

          'Gerpersons'? Lmao

Way to give away that you're a troll

Gerperson is dead-on for something a chud pretending to be a caricature of a Tumblr 'SJW' or something would say. If you actually legitimately use that then I apologize but also that's still fuckin' stupid

Americans are so scared of being put into a reservation because they know just how harmful it is. That’s why they spent centuries doing it to native Americans

I'm confused. Japan fought with the Entente against the central powers in WWI because the state wanted Germany's possessions in the pacific (and got them!). They couldn't even avoid doing yellow peril racism when they were fighting on the same side?

America's propaganda about its enemies has always been projection.

      • Prussia will put you on a reservation in New Mexico
      • The Soviets will nuke civilians, so you better duck and cover (Hiroshima)
      • China is killing Muslims on cotton plantations
      • North Korea tortures its prisoners (Abu Ghraib)
      • Putin controls foreign elections (GLADIO)

For some time there was a fear that japan would flip sides if the central powers started winning. The Japanese really didn't do that much in the war and so they didn't really have a grudge against anyone.

So when Rosa Luxembourg said "socialism or barbarism", barbarism referred to Canada specifically?

We have a history of anti-German sentiment going back to the colonial days. Ben Franklin hated the Germans and thought they shouldn't be here. It's really funny how white people used to hate each other so much and now they're united under "white people" because racists found common cause against POC.

Shin-Kōbe is ... St. Helens, OR? Whatever Portland did must have really pissed off the Tennō to get that kind of snub.
