the only reason this is a story is the guy had security video with audio of the cops doing their standard piece of shit routine. swear to god, anybody who doesn't know the "immediately threaten every victim" routine in the US has simply never tried to file a police report in the US. it's their number one move to get out of doing anything in any situation, because the only smart move for the victim is to stop talking and walk away. and if you don't, they get more and more aggressive to scare you off until they get close to being off duty, then they arrest you and get overtime for slow walking you through processing.

literally showing up after midnight several hours after he calls it in. would love to see the GPS log of where their cruiser was posted up for naptime and what restaurant they shook down for a free dinner, because you know that always takes precedence.

when this bullshit system is overthrown, the most important information for your local community to collect and analyze is the personnel files of your local police. these are your predators, scumbags, and bullies. they have no right to arms, power or anonymity in the better world we build. they must answer for their crimes.

I swear, police officers love interpreting the law. Doesn't matter that it's not their fucking job or that they're dumb as shit. They can't help but play lawyer.

It’s also not illegal for them to not know a law or misinterpret it, but if a civilian misunderstands a law or isn’t kept up with every new legislation passed then it’s not an excuse for breaking it.

Gotta at least hand it to the dad for realizing he should shut the fuck up as soon as the cops reveal their intent.

If the media really was biased in our favor as mainstream popular opinion likes to claim it is, the cops would be named and shamed on national TV and then tossed in jail for pretty much admitting they're going to let an adult felon walk free....because reasons.

Everyone is "tough on crime" until we're talking about the crimes normies like.

There was a case where two underaged teenagers met on a dating app and sent nudes. The guy got put on a sex offender’s registry even though the girl and the family pled to the judge that the punishment was too severe for no reason.

It is news to me because I figured it was a scare tactic and not a rule anyone would enforce if the two parties are of the same age and no coercion was involved. The fact they were more concerned about the kid sending nudes (who was groomed) and not about the actual predator shocks me

I don't have the link but I remember a story where some teen who took after workout pics, kept them to himself, and was still convicted (or possibly pled) on some sex charge. Absolutely disgusting. The way these laws are written and enforced is about power, not protecting children.

In my middle school there was a creepy old guy teaching science who would routinely "drop" his pen and ask one of the 12-to-13-year old girls in front to lean over and pick it up for him

All the comments on videos of female teachers molesting male students is met with envy and praise. They made a whole South Park episode on it lol. In real life guys were like this too when I was in middle and high school.

I remember on this old sitcom called the George Lopez Show, the son gets molested by his female teacher and he thinks it’s all epic and cool, and George Lopez is just like “no son, you just got molested by a predator.”

The only similar thing I recall was when we had some guys in telling us not to nonce 13 year old (no matter how willing they may be) when I was 17.

It was a very strange presentation.

i still don't understand how friends and/family don't hunt them down after some shit like this and exact revenge. I don't think I could let shit like that slide if it happened to my family or my good friends. It's hard enough watching it happen to strangers.

A lot of people believe the average intelligence person could pull off a well planned killing without getting caught (most murders are never solved anyway). I'm surprised more people don't test that theory too.

I have a feeling that's only because the pigs don't give a fuck about most murder victims, but they'd probably pull out all the stops if one of their own got merked. Then again, as far as I know whoever killed that cop in California has gotten away with it so far, so... shrug-outta-hecks

I actually briefly met one of the guys in this compilation (before it happened). Was a big deal locally kinda. Problem was dude didn't make a very ideal victim because he's literally the scum of the earth (and not like, "he's no angel" type shit you usually see (and he's white anyway), I wont get into details because it would require a CW but he's garbage just trust me) so a lot of people I knew couldn't see the systemic problems involved and only saw someone they hated getting fucked up. I was one of the only people that I knew saying "yeah no doesn't matter that he's garbage noone should be treated that way and he wasn't under arrest for those things anyway, he was just in the drunk tank." And honestly, because of the local culture being very enabling of the things he did, most people weren't saying he deserved it because of that but because of more petty shit anyway. The people principled enough to hate him for the things he did were on my side when it came to what the pigs did lol.

Just from the collage of brutality I just saw and your description, I'm gonna guess he was the guy standing handcuffed in a cell that some meathead pig full-force shoved backwards into the wall.

Don't feel any pressure to confirm or deny, just thought I'd throw my guess out there.
