Apparently they've had this url ready to go for a while and Voat closing gave them an excuse to launch.

It's perfectly safe as long as you don the invulnerable seven proxies. https://knowyourmeme.com/photos/131714-good-luck-im-behind-7-proxies

Yeah I realised after I should have archived it at the least. I double checked and there’s nothing nefarious on there but I’ve seen qanoners talk about collecting child abuse images as “evidence” and similar. If they feel safe there, who knows what they’ll share.

The guy who owns T_D made the first post on great awakening saying he had created them a home. So there’s some affiliation between the communities, even if it’s just that guy.

I think it is the same site. You can go to communities.win/c/thedonald or communities.win/c/greatawakening. Plus, AFAIK there's only one status monitor for communities.win, not ones for each "site".

It’s a pretty good grift, I’ll give them that much.

Software appears to be a proprietary reddit clone that only supports one community per instance. Looks like they have an SSO system across these sites, but they really only differentiate them as .win sites ... since they don’t control the TLD or seem to have a consistent identity across these sites an unsophisticated user could get honey-potted.

WTF is "IP2Always"? Don't want to click on it, but googling it seems to imply it's related to a streamer called Ice Poseidon...? WTF?

“Denino's fan base are controversial with some describing the community as ‘toxic’ due to their frequent use of racial and sexual slurs, and harassment.”

So it turns out his subreddit was removed for “repeated posting of sexually violent content”

        What the fuck.

Imagine being so awful your fans get their own community/site from T_D.

How does a streamer curate a community where his fans are posting gifs of

            TW/NSFL

            Women being strangled?

Not even Destiny is that fucking bad??

the horrifying part is that destiny is one of the /least/ bigoted streamers. it's why people thought for a while that he might move left. this is the dude cheering nazis for killing BLM protestors, in case anyone has forgotten. fire g*mers into the sun.

yeah to clarify, definitely use a vpn or tor or something before going to that site. i made that mistake last time people were talking about it here, and i saw some shit that, if i have to see it, i would at least prefer it not be openly available for the isp/cops to be like "oh yeah he was looking at that"

better advice, though, is just dont go look at it at all lol

thedonald.win has gotten rid of downvotes but we haven't. Does that mean critical support for downvotes?

Since we don’t have a bot yet, please refrain from ableist language. Try words like “wild” instead.

I’ve never been called out on using that word before (and as someone with mental health issues, it doesn’t bother me and I’ve never heard it challenged in my group therapy group either, which is my usual barometer for these things in that context) but fair enough man. Different people react to different things and I’m not the spokesperson for everyone with bipolar. I’ll try and phase it out of my vocabulary.

Is it surprising though? This is a "dirtbag left" website associated with a podcast where hosts litteraly made a rant about how lame it is to try to use "non-offensive" insults.

Once they made fun of presliced fruits and vegetables and then apologised profusely on the next episode for being abelist.
