I honestly don't know enough of medical sciense to tell if this is bullshit or credible.
It's not wrong, it just takes a bad thing and stretches it into "if this were a conspiracy, then things could be bad, I'm not saying it is though", which is pointless speculation (if not mildly entertaining).
We shouldn't be relentless optimists, but yeah, we should at least be operating from a perspective that improving the future is possible.

I think the point they're making is that those in power are fucking up in a way that is so bad, that it may as well be intentional.
Basically they've fucked this up in the most efficient and total way possible, to the point that it's coincidentally started to resemble a conspiracy
