The two weeks I spent with three of my friends doing a cross country road-trip back in 2018 felt like an neverending saga (by the end of the first week we were already at eachother's necks 24/7 lmao 10/10 would do again) whereas the uh..two years I've spent at my current job have flown by relatively quickly in comparison due to me spending every day at home working for eight hours wanting to die.

this is mostly due to the grind that is life imo, i feel like if im out and doing things i enjoy time does not seem to blink away this fast
