We're culturally and ideologically down so bad, the privileged class couldn't even mount an argument grand enough to justify what happened today outside of vague ideas of liberty and freedom, not to mention all the #SaveTheChildren pizzagate detached from reality stuff. Joe Manchin is a pro-Trump Democrat. Now they'll just have to compromise with him instead of Mitch McConnell. Some difference, but not much.

It would be useful - if someone is impeached and convicted they are barred from running for office again. You can impeach after the term is over for this reason.
