Imperial Japan was monstrous and deserved to be taken down but I think it's funny how they earned a special place of hate from the US by being a tiny nonwhite nation that pulled the rug out from under them. There's a reason why anti-Japanese propaganda was a fair bit more venomous than anti-German.
