And this is the peak of sculpture (from the Tuc d'Audoubert cave in France, carved more than 14000 years ago).

I know, right ? I can't even begin to imagine the living conditions of the sculptor - and him doing it purely for art, in the lights of torches underground, perhaps for his tribe. And what he'd feel if he knew all the effort he did were witnessed by fellow humans more than 14 thousands years after.
