"Nothing will fundamentally change" is the only campaign promise he kept. You know the one liberals kept telling us we're taking it out of context

Hey he also explicitly said that he has no sympathy for the plight of younger Americans, going so far as to reiterate it and say "no I'm serious, I have no sympathy"

Which of course was also taken out of context.

I seem to remember another president that was widely mocked (correctly) for suggesting this as a solution.

Libs literally only problem with Trump is he says the quiet part out loud.

Reminds me of back on reddit when someone pointed out to a lib that they stopped caring about the migrants being in concentration camps the moment Biden became president and the response was "Well where else are we supposed to put them?"

How about shutting the camps down and allowing free travel

This is actually what libs are saying on reddit-logo . “Trump wanted a wall from coast to coast, this is more strategic and just patches up gaps in the middle.” Obviously no one acknowledging the environmental impacts or destruction of indigenous graves. Then you have the “liberal as they come” clowns saying this is good, actually, because the country is being overrun and we can’t house everyone. Lastly, the Russiagate drips who are saying our adversaries are encouraging mass migration to destabilize the US.

Honestly, the last few weeks have made me go from thinking these shitstains need gulag to thinking they deserve pit and only pit

Oh yeah. Here are the three I was perusing this morning on the way into work:

Looks like there's more people dunking on this in those threads than there was earlier.

Yeah, when I went to look on my own I was pleasantly sruprised by the comments. There were definitly people justifying it, or focusing on how Republicans would react (a common tactic to distract when Democrats do something bad) but they arent too terrible really.

Yeah, glad to see better takes have filtered in later on. They and similar articles are still buried in controversial, though, and now I'm seeing the justification is that Biden is just doing what Congress told Trump to do when they appropriated funding for it in 2019 so there's nuance and it's still Trump's fault. It's a truly bizarre place in that sub. I don't even know why I do it to myself; I got banned years ago when I was still a LIB for making a joke about the GOP leadership dying in the fire they started during one of the shutdowns lmao. Like, not even outright wishing for it, just riffing off of someone else's comment about Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell lighting America on fire or something.

Also, because I was searching for it and couldn't find it and thought I was going crazy, here's the delusional "Russia is behind this" thread. Turns out they were in different comments on an article about Mayorkas' statement.

"Congress appropriated fiscal year 2019 funds for the construction of border barrier in the Rio Grande Valley, and DHS is required to use those funds for their appropriated purpose," the statement said.

    They were just following orders

is required to use those funds for their appropriated purpose

Biden is the president, the Democrats control the senate. What you're telling me is that they can literally bomb Pakistan if they want, but they can't use that money to feed the poor instead of building a wall that won't stop people from entering the USA.

That’s why it’s extra fucking evil that it’s not even NEW debt forgiveness. They’re just finally getting around to doing what was mandated they do in prior years which just wasn’t getting done.

'Biden Approves new section of border wall as Mexico crossings rise'

Wonder if they have an analogous headline about Trump doing this same thing, preferably while conveying the same basic info with a different tone.

'Why Trump’s border wall is not just a wall'

Not quite right, it doesn't mention anything about crossings in the title.

'The cascade of false claims as Trump makes his case for a crisis on the US-Mexico border'

    Found it

    Fucking liberals.

At least one of the authors of that article is (kind of) hounding dems about the new wall. But another one of the co-authors also spit out this piece:

As Mexico cracks down on migrants, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador gains leverage with Washington

    First line in the article:

Last month, as the Biden administration scrambled to manage the latest wave of migrants overwhelming the US southern border, top US immigration authorities crossed into Mexico for an emergency meeting.

    Walk off a bridge, Shortell.

It's not about stopping illegal aliens it's about "crossings" and it's not the dems fault anyway it's that imposing, all powerful Mexican president that's twisting Unca Sam's arm and Biden would much rather not make children walk through razer wire but we just didn't vote hard enough thanks to you tankies.

A relative of mine posted that picture on his Facebook and it got a bunch of "laugh" reacts from his friends.

I never wanted to [redacted] a bunch of people more after reading a social media post than that instance. So I did the next best thing and told him that I thought he was smarter than having a bunch of inhuman shitheads for friends.

The post disappeared. Either he deleted it or blocked me from seeing it. Oh well.

liberalism This is absolutely a good thing! He's showing he is willing to work with Republicans so that moderates who are turned off by Trump can feel comfortable voting for him. This way, when he tries to do something that affectsreal people...me...hard-working Americans, the Republicans won't just shut him down like they did to Obama, (who, let's be honest, had it coming with all that socialist medicine bullsh!t)

If you think about it, it's actually really good for the migrants (no person is illegal) because it will encourage them to stay home and not cross the dangerous desert. I applaud this humanitarian move.

Information like this can never meaningfully change their positions because they're bought into a heavily mediated information bubble that filters out or discredits any criticism of the Biden regime. The DNC has created its own heavily mediated bizarro version of Qanon.
