Its almost like they are just stalling for time so that they dont pass any policies, almost like if they are a fake opposition party :thinkin-lenin:

"Unforgivably incompetent" is a more useful characterization than "fake opposition party."

You get the message across that mainstream Democrats are unable to handle any sort of serious political issue without sounding like you're delving into conspiracy waters.

Their only role is to pretend the house isn't on fire while the landlords continue moving out and selling off.

Even if that was the case, wouldn't it make more sense to call witnesses, to take more time?

There is no such thing as society of the spectacle. There are individuals of the spectacle, and there are families of the spectacle.

Serial losers, its what they do.

I think its fucking hilarious they didn't even manage to get a decent headline out of it. They just ended up looking like the losers they are.

It’s all symbolic. The main defense I’ve seen is that it shows the president should be held accountable. This loses meaning when you realize no president has been held accountable for their actions.

huh? they know they're gonna lose, but they have to impeach him to give red meat to the base.

they keep the trial shorter is smarter, as they look less dumb, have less egg on their face, and lose less political capital. honestly the smart play.

I suppose they won. Trump isn’t on twitter. He’s all but disappeared from Publix life entirely

Glad they spent the last few weeks with this circus shit instead of, you know, actually doing anything beneficial to the people.

This and more importantly their continuing failure to deliver on the $2k checks.

Why wouldn’t they call witnesses to drag out the show? If you’re going to do this, at least make some middle class republicans scared of trumpers

I know they did it purely to drag out some bullshit spectacle to avoid doing anything, but god DAMMIT is it pathetic.

Why do people still vote for these fucking losers? People CAPE for these fucking losers!! They can't get a fucking trial against a fucking serial liar with fewer than 3 functioning brain cells off the ground when they control all fucking branches of government (save the Supreme Court).

Why does anyone believe they will EVER accomplish anything that is a net positive for humanity? They will just continue to make limp wristed "Nooo, please don't" comments ad infinium until the Earth fucking melts.

    Pathetic.
