hell yeah spiro - I cannot say I am with you on the sparkling water but heath bars do rock. They are best smashed up and thrown in some vanilla ice cream.

Absolutely not! The best part is the (not quite) peanut butter and the best reese's are the ones that have the most peanut butter. Can't even really taste the nut in the pieces imo. (still glad they make you happy though)

i agree. pieces ain't got no nut butter you know it i know it.

how-ev-er. the weird buttery shit they got goin on in them pieces is pretty tasty. and in the small bitties you can hardly taste the corn syrup, which really bothers me personally. big reeses nut is good but the chocolate is sub par in my opinion

Have you had the reese's pieces big cup? Feel like that could be our unity ticket. Nothing beats the pure uninterrupted bliss of all that n*t butter, but sometimes the texture can be fun. I definitely think the chocolate is crap but I'm too conditioned to like it now lol.

Fuck actually don't do it. I do not want to be doing free advertising for a major corporation.

if it helps i was somewhat disingenuous, i don't purchase candy. like drugs i only hit on someone else's dime 😎

gosh I wish I had the discipline. I started going to the gas station for snacc again like a month ago and have felt so dry and nauseous...just because it tastes good does not mean it is good.

I worked for a company that makes peanut butter for Reeses. I cant stand those things now. Not that there's a problem with the manufacturing of it. Its just too damm sweet. They add some much sugar to their pb that im not sure if it technically qualifies as pb.

But imo i like less sweet stuff like the paydays or at most baby ruths. The salty peanuts with some sweetness is my jam. Snickers are ok in a pinch but even those are too sweet for me to stomach a whole bar.

Really hate to sound like a corporate promoter (just an incessant snacker because I do manual labor) but the Reese's snicker analogue hits soooo hard and doesn't seem as sweet as their typical fare although it is probably the same peanut butter.

I have always been fond of Snickers

      Though, I also enjoy Raisinettes

      Basically anything with chocolate really

Eh, go with a Chunky bar

damn, you have some great options here i hadn't considered. snickers are obv a great choice but raisinettes might be perfect for the weather turning sunnier and warmer where i am - compliment the sweetness of the world

i walk to get them and it's ~1.2 miles to the grocery or 1.5 to the ice cream shop i go to far too often, so i have to be motivated and get exercise on the way to/from. mondays/fridays are two gym days too which is another half mile from the grocery and i stop at the grocery on the walk home. all in exercise (and accepting not being small as i enjoy the happiness i get from treats)

Thanks for sharing! I live within three blocks of no less than three treat dispensaries, sadly, so that type of barrier is not there for me.

they are good, but fair warning, if the taffy isn't warm, like about 60 degrees, it's hard and brittle and a struggle to actually eat

so what you're telling me is they're the perfect candy to leave in my pocket for the mile walk home and then eat when i get home? i love it

I was always a fan of the Take 5 bar (I think that's what its called, its got pretzel in it) the salty crunchy pretzel contrasts nicely against the sweet of the other ingredients.
