I’m not sure anyone outside of Twitter actually likes her. Her campaign imploded, her only memorable policy was means-tested into oblivion, and she covered up police brutality. She offers nothing except tokenism.

i get where you're coming from, but it's hard to dismiss the notion that the DNC picked her largely so they could run a woman of color against Trump, and that's pretty much tokenism to a T. she's a freshman senator, not a (real) progressive, and not from a swing state.

From their perspective she's a progressive, which might or might not be true depending on who you ask. It's all subjective.

Please read Marx. There's nothing subjective about the bourgeois class' accumulation of capital, that's why people these days have even less control over the means of production than feudal serfs despite all the "progress".

She is a "progressive" but the thing she is progressing is making more people live in poverty, in fact as a careerist prosecutor she gaves out felony records that disenfranchise people further away from having property rights, the opposite of material progress.

The alternative was a war criminal, and some of the other names were way more conservative. You need to be realistic given the circumstances. Telling people to read Marx because you diagree with them isn't going to solve anything. :rose-fist:

This will be the banner on the entrance to the concentration/work camps created for the poor and homeless under the progressive biden / harris administration

My point is basically just: It could have been way worse.

She's not good, but she is also NOT a war criminal. That's it and that's all.

          See post title.

          It's called balancing the ticket.

But she's not actually going to appeal to progressives though, even weaksauce ones (and progressives are already pretty weaksauce), which is the entire reason you balance the ticket

Love getting called a racist for calling out the fact that Harris offers literally nothing besides being not-a-white-man to the ticket and if anything is an extremely tone-def choice given the current movement against police brutality and her track record of prosecuting people for non-violent drug offences.
