(right now or in general) I wanna know what kinda cool shit y'all make!
Oh that sounds like a good fucking way to do it, how many eggs and how big is your tortilla that you use?
You saute any onions/peppers/mushrooms with your dish or is it just the eggs? I was really enjoying chorizo omelettes at the beginning of lockdown, but havent found it for too cheap anywhere since then.
Gonna be making some sweet bread with cinnamon. Also perfect my regular bread (add honey to give more flavor???)
Lemon bars, lemon bars and more lemon bars. Yes I'm bisexual, how could you tell?
Were you wearing cuffed jeans and sitting like you have only a vague understanding of how to use a chair?
Literally wearing cuffed jeans right now while lying awkwardly on a couch. Goddammit why do the stereotypes have to be so accurate
I even have the undercut haircut and eyebrow slit and everything man, I feel like a walking stereotype sometimes
I fried up onions and serranos and used them as garnish for a quesadilla I made for lunch
My partner just made babaganoush with home grown eggplant grilled and then pureed. I wasn't a fan of eggplant until I tried this, it was very good with marinaded grilled chicken on toasted pita bread.
Just a simple pasta with beans and olives. The secret though is this vegan miso based pesto I make. I'm not vegan, it's just that tasty.
someone beat you to this joke, and no, not with gourmet shit like this
In the last week I've made vegan mac and cheese, a shiitake/garlic/hot pepper sauce, and some curried chickpeas.
The cheese sauce was the kind made with a potato/carrot base + coconut milk
I would really like to make a chapo community for booze making because goddamn, if you want to make anything else but beer, alcohol is so easy and fun to make for yourself out of reusable common materials. I'm making a wine currently from 6lbs of grapes i got on sale and have been doing this since lockdown started, and I've spent so little on the materials involved in making my own juice to get happy with. Peaches, cherries, blueberries, bananas, strawberries, all have made for nice and interesting drinks that also get me pretty wasted!
Probably gonna make some basil linguine for dinner tonight.
Been a real struggle not having constant access to fresh greens, particularly lettuce, this summer. I do have lots of cucumbers though, which have been great.
