  • I’m pretty torn on Iran’s government, on one hand they are weirdly forward thinking in places like trans rights and they act as a bulwark against American intervention in the region. On the other hand they are most definitely not leftist, but they occupy the same void that Russia does in that it has a legacy of a leftist government which is better than not having it.

I’m not sure if it would be better for the communist project in the long run if a color revolution were to sweep over Iran, I’m afraid it would make the country lean more towards the United States and adopt liberalism which in my opinion is not worth the trade of increased social rights. I’m still of the opinion that Iran needs a nuke and shouldn’t have its government overthrown.

I think the best thing that could possibly happen is if Iran were to adopt sweeping social reforms on sexuality, gender, and race while avoiding westernizing and still maintaining some degree of its Islamicness. I think the worst thing that leftists deal with right now is that a lot of the social justice and gender theory stuff is mostly seen as an American thing that’s divorced from the economic aspects of leftism. So if Iran were to adopt it as state policy it would help mend the divide a little and would introduce a more progressive version of Islam.

The worst case scenario is an Afghanistan situation where there’s a bunch of wokewashing in major cities and the countryside becomes infested with reactionary chuds who sadly would be the anti imperialist faction. There’s a fine line to walk between anti imperialism and social justice and some might call it a false dichotomy to be forced to pick between the two but sometimes you gotta support shitty regimes because not doing so would lead to an even greater calamity. I guess what I’m trying to say is critical support for Iran, I hope they reform but we shouldn’t cry if they crack down on this.

  • Personal computers were a mistake. Personal phones were a mistake. Personal televisions were a mistake. No single person needs to own so much rare earth metals. Computers should be distributed in a public manner, we should put public terminals everywhere like phone booths, handheld computers should be restricted to those that actually need them. Video games, films, and books are treats that nobody actually needs.

  • Colonization and communism are incompatible. Just because we can launch a rocket into space does not mean we should. Space colonization is just an endless cycle of raping the natural resources of the cosmos to sustain unsustainable human growth. We need to embrace an antinatalist approach to space, research is good, learning is good, going up there to live and breed is not good. Anyone born in space will have to deal with higher rates of cancer and deformities, you cannot consent to that. Oh and there’s the fact space would not be available to the vast majority of people, there would be nothing equal about who gets to go up, it’s either the mega rich or the most physically and mentally capable which would mean the vast majority of people would not benefit from it in any way, it would be eugenics under any circumstances. The earth has an incomprehensible carrying capacity, if humanity is concentrated entirely on the planet earth all can be equal and equitable.

  • Space colonization is a bad thing. Why do we need humans in the radiation abundant low gravity empty void of space? We could just send robots up there for scientific purposes, we don’t need space manufacturing or space mining or any kind of exploitation. We don’t need a human on Mars, we don’t need to send humans back on the Moon, we honestly don’t even need a space station. All private space travel is to inflate the ego of billionaires, all national space travel is nationalist propaganda. There is no logical reason to launch rockets when there’s poverty, all the necessities that we get from the space program like gps and weather data, that could be done by a multinational organization, we could significantly downsize the space program, remember it’s just an extension of the military industry.
