You know what I would love? A color-by-number where it doesn't have lines, only numbers, and you create a Voronoi diagram using the numbers, and then color it in. It would probably end up looking like a stained-glass window.

What I'm talking about would be more irregular, and would allow you to put 2 of the same color adjacent to each other. Kind of like a stained-glass window, only you have to trace it yourself. So instead of a "connect the dots" activity, it's a "trace between the dots" one, that then lends itself to coloring and all kinds of shapes.
Idk, you could find the TX-2 Congressional district as one of these, but there's no way you'd ever see that on a mandala.
