Yeah, you must've convinced em you can handle it. Higher power gives better results but it does hurt so much. You can ask them to dial it back, but if you can handle it why not go for higher. You're allowed to take like tylenol before the session, that can help. Plus, maybe they started on the really sensitive zones today like upper lip lol

The neck got me fucked up. But I'm happier with this session. She seemed much more thorough and I feel like shit hit everything.

I think she can probably turn it up a little higher, frankly mari-smug

Hah, the pain makes the process feel worth it in a way. It's like you're really working for what you want. I got gratification from it in that way.

I'll ask if we're gonna up the power next time

If you have some scar tissue on your upper lip would that reduce the pain?

I don't know, but honestly I wouldn't expect it to. I guess it depends on the size and depth of the scar, like maybe cleft lip repair scar that little area might not be as sensitive. But you still have the rest of your upper lip anyway. I have a great big scar on my knee from when I was a kid, basically can't feel it at all, no response when they check that reflex either (I always wonder if I limp slightly because of it)... I wonder if they'll just zap that small area so I have some first hand knowledge of if it hurts more or less over the scar area even though it's also completely hairless.

Mine would be from straight razor cut that cut my lip in two.. it's a fine scar now but got it when I was a kid.

I have a very high tolerance to pain too so I always wonder
