My client has no support for it. Is there documentation on their formatting syntax? This is what I get for being a filthy phoneposter.

That is the formatting, this page has formatting stuff. If you comment on hexbear there's a row od little icons above the text entry field; the diamond with the ! in is Spoiler as seen above. So basically ::: spoiler [the spoiler tag], new line and enter text, and then another :::

Ash has pointed out me breaking my own spoiler tags on occasion. The clients I use support spoiler tags. I just manage to break it occasionally and not check that it worked after posting.
