I've been in this exact situation, and I regretted calling the cops when they:
- Arrived two hours after I'd made the call
- Sent possibly the two dumbest goons on the force
- Ended up arresting some guy on 'shrooms instead of investing the sounds of a violent crime
Would have been way better off calling a neighbor and investing myself than waiting for a clown car from the Houston PD to show up.
